This chamber choir based in the English city of Leeds, consists of around forty voices under the artistic direction of Simon Lindley, the founder in 1977. It has performed in churches and cathedrals in the UK and European cities and is especially regarded for its Baroque repertoire.
They came to Mallorca in 2009 and are now back with a mini tour of four concerts from October 26 to 29 in Muro, Campanet, Arta and Palma.
The direction is by Alan Horsey and accompanying the St Peter's Singers will be the organist David Houlder, who will also play organ solos. The program covers five hundred years of sacred music of composers from Britain and the European continent.
