STOMP

None of the musical instruments in use, this formation opts more for the sounds of everyday objects like trash cans, brooms, newspapers, lighters, matches, sand, water, bricks, bananas ... the list is endless. With all these they convert noise into music and danceable beats.

STOMP was created in England in 1991 by the labor and initiative of Like Cresswell (percussion) and Steve McNicholas (actor, musician and writer), after ten years working in music and theater groups. The unique combination of percussion, movement and visual comedy has proved a success and today there are five companies that, under this brand, take the show to stages around the world.

This formation has performed at the Palma Auditorium in 2008 and now presents itself with new choreographies premiered in 2011 to commemorate its twenty years on stage. This is the freshest version, exciting and funny in its creations.
