Studium Cor de Cambra

This chamber choir opens the XXVIII edition of the festival in a setting of incomparable beauty, the Raixa estate. It was created in 1982 by its current director, Carles Ponseti i Verdaguer, and their repertoire includes works by composers from between the sixteenth and twentieth centuries. They dedicate particular attention to Baroque music, performed with instruments from the time.

In this concert will act as soloists soprano Barbara Femeníes, Andreu Riera on piano and Enrique Sanchez on the flute. The program includes works by Robert Schumann (1811-1856), Gioachinno Rossini (1792-1868), Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924) and Xavier Montsalvatge (1911-2002).
