Szymon Mika Trio

The Alternatilla Jazz 2018 festival has Poland as guest country, and Szymon Mika (Wadowice, 1991) is a worthy representative of the new music scene of the central European country. This talented guitarist has won such important awards as the international Jarek Śmietana Jazz Guitar or the Grand Prix Jazz Nad Odrą.

As a composer he has published several recordings, including two albums with the trio, Unseen (2016) and Togetherness (2018). Along with Szymon Mika (guitar), the trio is completed by Max Mucha (double bass) and Ziv Ravitz (drums).
