Cuban filmmaker Rolando Almirante teaches this international workshop of documentary film in the first edition of Mallorca Workshops, held under the title Autumn of cinema in Mallorca.
Rolando Almirante , documentary filmmaker and professor at the Film School of San Antonio de los Baños, a member of the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences of the United States and has taught courses and masters in various universities in America, this being his first visit to Mallorca.
In addition to Admiral, the seminar will also have the assistance of Cuban cinema specialist Gonçal Lopez and Professor Sebastià Serra i Busquets.
It will be held from November 18 to 20 in the afternoon and the number of places is limited to 16 people. There will also be Discussions and debates with free entry in the morning in which the contemporary history of Cuba will be reviewed through cinema, with the projection of a film daily.
