The Contemporary Saxophone

A retrospective of solo saxophone repertoire  is the title of this concert of The Contemporary Saxophone, under the direction of Rodrigo Vila.

The program consists of Partita BWV 1013 by Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750), Chant de Sables, the work of 2007 by the composer François Rossé  (1945) and Tre Pezzi  by Giacinto Scelsi (1905-1988).

The concert is part of the First International Festival of Chamber Music in Palma de Mallorca, organized by the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands in collaboration with the newly formed Associació d'Intèrprets de Música Clàssica of the Balearic Islands.
