Port Adriano Mallorca Festival celebrates its tenth anniversary with an acclaimed show that allows you to once again listen live to the songs of one of the most creative and unique bands in rock music, the British Dire Straits led by guitarist Mark Knopfler.
The origin of The Dire Straits Experience dates back to 2011, when Alan Clark, Phil Palmer, Terence Reis and Chris White (saxophonist who toured with Dire Straits from 1985 to 1995, when the band disbanded) met to offer a benefit concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The tour lasted three and a half years, touring more than 25 countries.
On the current 2022 tour, Chris White and Terence Reis surround themselves with a wake band made up of some of the best musicians the UK has to offer. Musicians who have worked with members of rock royalty such as Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Elton John, Joe Cocker, George Michael or Jamiroquai, among many others.
A show that will make us relive the music of one of the most emblematic rock bands, with songs that were an anthem like Money for Nothing or Brothers in Arms.
