The dreamlike presence of the tree

Damià Matas Morell (Esporles, 1985) presents an exhibition that aims to deploy a dreamlike presence of the tree. The supports of the works in the show include plant materials such as logs, paper, wood, plastic worked with different techniques. Many of the works on display, by their form, support and technique, even when using paint, take a step toward the sculptural language.

Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Basque Country the last works of the artist focus on the investigation of mythology and the search of common symbols, using painting and sculpture as a form of expression.
