'The economist of happiness', a world in two directions

The economics of happiness (2011) is directed by Helena Norberg-Hodge, Steven Gorelick and John Page and produced by the International Society for Ecology and Culture. It features a chorus of voices from six continents calling for a change of the economic system. On the one hand, government and big business continue to promote globalization, and on the other, citizens demand a new regulation of trade and finance.

the documentary will be presented by its director Helena Norberg-Hodge, an analyst at the effects of the global economy and agriculture crops, pioneer of the localization movement and articulation of the central ideas of anti-development.

The film is emitted within the cycle Nazo Kaniso yo (I think of you) by the artist Jaceck Wozniak in the Fundació Pilar I Joan Miró in Mallorca.
