The large eye of Palma that sees everything

This Sunday the city of Palma will be invaded by hundreds of people, camera in hand, who will roam the streets and squares looking to capture the best image. The reason is the competition Palma Fotogràfica, which reaches its 27th edition with its distinctly festive and ludic character.

It starts at half past nine in the Plaza Major, where participants will be given a CD on which they will record the five photographs related to the five themes set by the organization. The first three items are indicated in the first check point and the remainder in a second one.

Palma Fotogràfica includes as a novelty this year a special section on the Santa Catalina Market, of which the photos must be made before January 28.

The contest has over twenty awards of collaborating entities, among which is included ArtsMallorca.com. Furthermore, with the winning and selected photographs an exhibition will be mounted in Ses Voltes which will run from March 14 to April 14.

Once the jury of this edition has chosen the prizes, www.artsmallorca.com the winning photos will be published with the names of their authors and a selection of the best photos of the contest by topics.
