Josef Gabriel Rheinberger (1839-1901) was one of the last composers of Romanticism, with an extensive work recuperated in recent decades. With only seven years old he was organist at the church of Vaduz (Liechtenstein) and a year later released his first composition. His music, of impeccable scheme and technique collects the intimate and poetic aesthetic of the lied.
In this concert of the 2013-2014 Season by la Fundació Studium will participate the Aureum chamber choir and Andreu Riera on piano, with a program consisting of works based on texts of the time and in classic formate. In them, the voices and piano come together in a refined discourse.
