Swing music and classic songs from the roaring 20's are present in the program of performances that Palma City Council organizes for the European Music Day, which is celebrated on June 21.
On Saturday 18, in the Plaza de la Porta Santa Catalina, The Monkey Swingers will immerse us in the glamor of that time in a fun, original and elegant atmosphere.
The trio is made up of Christa Elmer, singer and harmonica player, trained at the Lausanne Jazz School (Switzerland); Pedro Riestra, Spanish guitarist and clarinetist who has worked for many years in Ireland; and the Argentine luthier Fernando Rubin, who has lived in Mallorca for years.
