A night of jazz, soul, funk and flamenco to celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the Auditori d'Alcúdia. After Epic sound: The music of the heroes in the film, dedicated to soundtracks, this special concert, also scheduled for the occasion brings on stage an orchestra of thirty musicians who accompany great artists of the island as Jorge Pardo, Toni Cuenca, Victor Uris and the group Saxophobia.
The orchestra will perform a selection of the best of Jorge Pardo, which include themes dedicated to Paco de Lucia and the Serra de Tramuntana and with the accompaniment of flamenco dancers.
The Old & New Big Band, created in 2015 in Inca and directed by saxophonist Luis Depestre introduce its first project, dedicated to the American singer, saxophonist and pianist Ray Charles (1930-2004), a key figure in the history of jazz and soul. Victor Uris will put a touch of blues.
