The novel Mala gente que camina (bad people that go their way) by Benjamín Prado - title taken from the poem by Antonio Machado He andado muchos caminos (I have walked many paths) - is the starting point of this first exhibition of the artist Ignasi Prat (Sant Esteve de Palautordera, 1981), which he presents in de center of contemporary art Addaya in Alaro.
Its focus is specifically on a fragment of the novel that tells about the opulence of the residences of families of the winners in the Spanish civil war, using photography to enter an historical archeology of the Franco regime based on the aesthetics of the facades of the houses of the heads of this repressive regime.
In addition to the photographs, the world of winners under the caption Hall of winter, also presents the projection of all the photos that are part of this project, still unfinished, and death certificates of those involved.
