'These Are Not My Images'

As visual expression, the work of the Israeli artist Irit Batsry (Gran Ramat, 1957) exceeds the power of language to unravel and describe its essence. Her work is essential to understand the development of video and image, with constant inquiries in the configuration and composition of the images.

These Are Not My Images. Retrospective of Videotapes (1982-2013), at the Casal Solleric in Palma, consists of four different spaces. In them can be seen the works done between 1981 and 1983, short films, a space conditioned as a cinema with soundtracks of Stuart Jones and a space with documental information of her works.
