Tribute Concert to Majorcan clergyman and composer Bernat Julia (Felanitx, 1922) by the Balearic Symphony Orchestra 'Ciutat de Palma'. Performing will be solists Bartomeu Veny (organ), Paula Castillo (piano) and soprano Paula Rossello.
Also accompanied by the Capella Mallorquina, a prestigious coral founded by Bernat Julia in 1966 and directed by José María Moreno since 1999. The program consists of three works of Julia (Toccata Mariana, Melodia Gotica and Toccata sul Te Deum) and the Concerto for piano and orchestra no. 2 of Rachmaninov.
The concert will be held at the Cathedral of Mallorca, which preserves the legacy of the entire musical production of Bernat Julia cataloged in its cathedral archive.
