Trukitreck: ‘Clic’

The Menorcan company Trukitreck premieres Clic in Spain, a direct manipulation piece created and directed by Josep Piris, who also acts as a puppet alongside Luis Carlos Pulici. It is one of the proposals of the 26th Teresetes International Theater Festival of Mallorca.

Clic is a retro-futuristic dystopia in which the bad guy Mephisto tries to steal Faust's soul; in a not-too-distant future, where humans live in a society watched and controlled by a single corporation and where the human body is “enhanced” with mechanical organ transplants. Will we one day be able to save our souls on a hard drive? Aren't we becoming too out of nature? Catalan language. Recommended age: from 13 years old.
