Amelia Garcia attended the University of Salamanca, the town where she was born, taking her doctorate in Fine Arts with a thesis on Jaume Mir 's work in the context of anatomical figurative sculpture. Throughout her career she has worked on design, painting, ceramics and printmaking projects, although she currently leans to primarily sculpture.
Un día qualsevol (One day), title of the exhibition and one of the installations , presents her latest works around the female figure, pieces made of refractory material or brass wax. Their forms are austere, synthetic and with elongated proportions, like the shadow of a tree.
