In their Diaspora, Jewish culture was enriched by and influenced the culture of the countries they passed, which gives their music a great human value. Júlia Alcaraz (piano) and Jordi Garcia (violin), components of Un món de músiques, collect this wealth in their album now presented at Teatre Municipal Terra i Mar.
In Un món de músiques i el món jueu (A world of music and the Jewish world) provides a comprehensive overview of Jewish reality. It collects traditional sounds, Sephardic songs from Sefarad, Turkey and Greece, Ashkenazi melodies of Central Europe and pieces of klezmer music.
