In the 18th century, there was a group of Xeremies at the Sede de Mallorca, heir to the musical group Joch de Ministrils that had been created in 1595, made up of 3 xeremies (tenor, contralto and tiple) and a baixó. We have news of the way in which the functions were carried out during the 18th and 19th centuries thanks to the Consueta of Doctor Miquel Reus.
The Pau Villalonga Ensemble recovers in this concert the ancient sounds of the minstrels with the organ. The EMMS Choir and the San Andreu Choir, directed by Alejandra Carrizo, collaborate. The proceeds from the concert will go to the preservation and recovery of the Jordi Bosch Organ.
