Dins l'amistad dels meus genolls (Inside the friendship of my knees) is the title of the exhibition of Patrick Corillon, who received the Pilar Juncosa Award and Sotheby's 2011, assembled on the occasion of the celebration of San Juan and in honor of the Catalan painter. Scattered in different corners of the gardens ten short stories narrate the particular influence of flowers on the life of men.
The stories are printed in small posters that force the viewer to adopt different postures to read the text. With this exhibition Corillon evokes Joan Miró’s productive relationship with literature and his appreciation of the simplest forms of nature. The exhibition will remain open until adverse weather conditions destroy the work, in this case the texts.
