Verónica Ferreiro

This young singer-songwriter from Galicia is one of the strongest emerging voices of  the national  jazz and soul scene . She comes from a musical family, so her DNA is marked by a stave that guides her steps. In 2004 the Xunta de Galicia  awarded her with the prize for the best interpretation of this region, after which she moved to Madrid to continue forming herself  not only in the fields of music, but also as a dancer.

In 2008, Veronica Ferreiro joined the producer and bassist Sergio Fernandez to create a project that toured many of the jazz clubs and festivals in the country. Two years later they recorded their first album, Laio (2011), a cluster of themes with attitudes of jazz, neo-soul and folk, somewhere between acoustic and electronic.

In this concert of Alcúdia Jazz  they are accompanied  by Rubén García (keyboards and piano). Georvis Pico (drums) and Israel Sandoval (guitar).
