In collaboration with El Circulo de Bellas Artes de Palma, the Balearic Port Authority convenes since 2010 this event which aims to disclose, from an arts perspective, the cultural heritage of the ports and their natural environment. It is open to all painters and photographers and the theme of the works must be related to ports and lighthouses that are managed by the Balearic Port Authority: the ports of Palma, Alcúdia, Maó, Ibiza and La Savina in Formentera and also the Balearic lighthouses.
There are three categories: watercolor, painting, other pictorial techniques and Photography. Each has three awards with monetary prizes.
The works must be delivered from 13 to 30 October (inclusive) at the headquarters of the Port Authority of the Balearic Islands in the port of Palma or the port of Ibiza.
