The Basque saxophonist Víctor de Diego presents his new group at the new edition of the Palma Jazz Festival. The four have collaborated on many occasions: Roger Mas participated in the album Evolution (2009) and with Marc Miralta in different projects.
Now they are reunited in a quartet with a repertoire that is based on orgial themes by the leader, which allows them to explore the endless avenues of expression that jazz music offers.
The group is made up of Víctor de Diego (tenor and soprano sax), Roger Mas (piano), Martín Leiton (double bass) and Marc Miralta (drums).
The Jazz Palma Festival is organized by the Palma City Council and is held from February 10 to 19, 2023 at the Teatre Municipal Xesc Forteza. This fourth edition programs seven concerts with international artists and groups, as well as a series of complementary activities related to the world of jazz.
