Vinícius Muniz, instrumentalist, composer and musical entrepreneur, is part of the new generation of Brazilian viola players. His musical work is the result of a deep dialogue with different artistic universes, especially classical music, Brazilian music and experimental music.
He has been awarded on several occasions, such as the 2016 MIMO Instrumental Award, and has been part of the groups Caruwa, Viola Arranjada and the Violas Philharmonic Orchestra, with which he recorded four albums and performed concerts in Brazil and Europe, in addition to performing along with big names in Brazilian music.
At the Fundació Cultural Coll Bardolet he offers a program entitled The Sounds of the Interior of Brazil, performed with a ten-string Brazilian viola.
