Jorge and Maikel Vistel are two brothers from Santiago de Cuba who come from a family with an extensive musical tradition. They formed the band at the National School of Art in Havana, where they both studied, and in 2006 they moved to Spain to continue their projects.
Separately they are exceptional, but together they create pure improvisational magic. With their band they have participated in festivals all over the world and their Miles Davis Tribute project, where they recreate the sounds of Miles' quintets with John Coltrane or Wayne Shorter, has been running for years with great success.
