Vocal Summit Masterclass

The 25th Mallorca jazz Sa Pobla organizes this masterclass that will be carried out by Carme Canela, Georgina Weinstein and Lilly Santon. Aimed at vocalists who want to deepen their jazz concept with three of the most innovative vocal jazz professionals. The participants will have the opportunity to work with the company of a trio of professional musicians.

Carme Canela, Singer showcase: Rehearsal, using repertoire of standard jazz songs and modern music for the preparation of the showcase (final concert). Proposals on interpretation and phrasing, with the support of a jazz trio (guitar, bass, drums).

Georgina Weinstein: She will teach individual voice classes to explore the different aspects of singing in vocal production, such as breathing, resonators, support and articulation.

Lilly Santon: Proposals for different techniques of warm-up, intonation, the connection of blues with improvisation in jazz, jazz repertoire, original songs without lyrics and Brazilian music.
