The Bureau of Music and Performing Arts of the City Council of Palma organizes this Week of Popular and Traditional Culture to be held from November 11 to 15 at the Teatre Municipal Mar i Terra. It programs various free activities for the whole family, as the projection of documentaries, album presentations, conferences, concerts, workshops, etc.

Wednesday 11
20:00 h.: Ferments, el mapa sensitiu d'una illa, by Miquel Brunet (director) and Francesc Vicenç (musicologist). Documentary and discussion.
Thursday 12:
20.30 h.: Concert. Presentation of the album Ara és l’hora by Sa Revetla of Sant Antoni.
Friday the 13th
19:00 h.: Conference Jocs populars tradicionals de les Illes Balears , by Xisco Amengual.
20:30 h.: Show of dance and scene by Aires Mallorquins of Jaume Company, at its 75e anniversary.
Saturday 14
20.30 h.: Concert Nights of Formentera, by Aires Formenterencs.
Sunday 15
11.30 h.: Performance of Castellers de Mallorca.
From 12:00 to 14:00 h.: folk dancing by the Escola de Ball of Bunyola and Balladors de Lluch at the plaza Verge del Miracle (in front of Teatre Teatre Mar i Terra).
From 12:00 to 14:00 h.: Workshop of tasting bread of flour Km 0 accompanied by Mallorcan work songs or tunes related to the harvest, flour and bread. Led by Tomeu Arbona (Fornet de la Soca). From 12:00 to 14:00 h.: Exhibition and documentary on the reinterpretation of the jubón (sort of narrow shirt that covered from the shoulders to the waist ) as a traditional piece, by Àngela Vallori.
