Valldemossa is a picturesque village nestled in the Sierra de Tramuntana in Mallorca, famous for in its monastery have resided Polish composer and pianist Frederic Chopin and the French writer George Sand.
One day a week the streets are filled with color and aromas with the sale of horticultural products and the typical of the gastronomy of Mallorca, as well as plants, flowers, clothes, jewelry and shoes.
The market is held on Sundays from 8:00 to 14:00 hours, in different streets and squares of Valldemossa. Taking advantage of the visit to the village, tourists can not miss trying the delicious potato coca, accompanied by an almond ice cream.
