Born in Taiwan, Chinese and Japanese heritage, Wei-Yi Yang is a young pianist critical acclaimed winner of the gold medal in the San Antonio International Piano Competition. He has performed on stages around the world and collaborated with renowned musicians and chamber ensembles, and participating in multidisciplinary projects such as Dickens Women with British actress Miriam Margolyes.
Acts in the Conservatori Superior de Música de les Illes Balears with a program made up Nocturne op. 9 No. 1 by Frédéric Chopin; Sonata No. 8, Op. 84, by Serguéi Prokofiev; and Sonata D. 960 of Schubert.
