The young pianist Wei Yi Yang is acclaimed worldwide for his interpretative skills and an imaginative program. He participated in the Deià International Music Festival in the 2016 edition, and now he returns with a program dedicated to the music of Robert Schumann that repeats at the Summer Concerts at the Palau March.
Born in Taiwan, Wei Yi Yang studied first in Great Britain and later in the United States with renowned Russian pianists, such as Arkady Aronov or Boris Berman. He has collaborated with many high-level interpreters and performed on stages in America, Asia, Europe and Australia. Winner of the gold medal in the International Piano Competition of San Antonio (USA).
