This project of the Mallorcan artist Esther Olóndriz, now presented in the CCA, is a reflection on the similarities between today's society and the one inhabiting the world of 1984, the political fiction dystopian novel by George Orwell published in 1949. To Olondriz Winston Smith, the character in the novel may be any of us.
Where is Winston Smith? Wanted is made with photographs in black and white of close individuals and others absolutely unknown. Some of the images are manipulated with collage or painting, drawings, slides, maps, projector, etc.
