It is the first documentary film directed in 2005 by David Mauas, the result of four years of research in Spain, France, Germany, Israel, the United States and the United Kingdom.
It proposes the reconstruction of the death of the German thinker of Jewish origin Walter Benjamin, who died in strange circumstances in Portbou on September 26, 1940 when he tried to escape from the Nazis. The film has received recognition from the European Association for Jewish Culture.
