From the deep fascination that, since childhood, singer Widad Mjama - the first female rapper in the Maghreb - felt for the chikhates and the art of aïta, and with the invaluable collaboration of composer, producer and musician Khalil Epi, the show Aïta Mon Amour was created, which they are now presenting for the first time in Spain, inaugurating the new edition of the Cançons del Mediterrània festival.
Aïta Mon Amour is a contemporary vision of a secular and deeply symbolic culture. A work that searches among the singer's own roots with her voice as the protagonist.
