The 25th Palma Ancient Music Festival begins with this poetic show by the unusual flute quartet by bec Windu, which combines historical and current repertoire with a contemporary staging.
His proposal Wind a la recerca del vent e sun is an oneiric and musical journey through the different manifestations of the wind throughout our planet, whether produced by the hand of man or by nature. The public enters the theater turned into a passenger and embarks on this particular journey hand in hand with the four members of Windu (Eva Jornet, Marcel Leal, Iris Mañà and Chris Orton) and their bec flutes.
With this show they have won three GEMA awards in 2017 (best innovation show, audience award9 for best early music group and best young group) and is nominated for the European REMA awards (best innovation show) and the 2022 GEMA awards. , which will take place in November.
