Joan Bennàssar (Pollença, Mallorca, 1950) is a renowned painter and sculptor who since the 80's experiments with figurative and abstract languages. His work is full of autobiographical references, poetic and literary. This exhibition, El vi que té gust de mar(wine that tastes like the sea), arose from the publication of the book of the same title in which the artist presents a selection of paintings and works on paper, recently created, dedicated to the history of wine in the Mediterranean, with special attention to the Balearic Islands.
