Music, literature, art, markets, traditions, landscape and cuisine combine these days in the new edition of Wine Days Mallorca, a fair organized by the Denominación de Origen Binissalem (Designation of Origin Binissalem) and which offers a different way to visit the island through wine tourism. This year the theme of the fair is Nine-days nine experiences.
Mallorca Wine Days will be held from May 2 to 10 and programs a big number of cultural activities twhich allow to tour the five municipalities that are part of the Designation of Origin Binissalem, along with open days at fourteen wineries and cellars of the DO
It will be inaugurated on Saturday 2nd at 19:00 in the Plaça Nova de Santa Maria del Cami with dancing of giants from the IX Trobada de Gegants . There will be wine tastings (wine glass € 2, 3 tastings 5 €) and local cuisine (€ 2 a tapa).
The program will feature the days of wine tourism, music concerts (the Cap Pela is May 9), the Gourmet Tour-Mallorca Wine Tours (a train ride through the vineyards and visit to the cellars), cultural itineraries of Mallorca Rutes or visititing the weekly markets in Santa Eugenia, the Consell Market, Santa Maria del Cami, Sencelles and Binissalem.
In Wine Days Mallorca art combines with wine and vineyards with exhibitions in Can Sabater (Binissalem) and Ca S'Apotecari (Santa Maria del Cami), in wine cellars and in workshops of artists living in the area.
In addition, over these eight days are also celebrated the Gastronomic Days of Santa Maria del Cami, excursions to vineyards, tapas tour and many more activities to enjoy the wine tradition of Mallorca. In the link you can find the full program.
