The gardens of the Cultural Center La Misericordia welcome to the joy of booklovers The X Antique and Second hand Book Fair. In it can be found from first editions to out of print books, through the volumes of great literary, artistic, historic and sentimental value, plus magazines , post -cards and photographs, an extensive library collection that consists of 30,000 publications of all types and styles.
The Fair is organized by the Consell de Mallorca in collaboration with Uniliber (Professional Association of Book and Antique Collectibles) and each year it opens with the reading of a proclamation by a leading figure in the culture world of the island, which this year has fallen on the historian and professor Gabriel Janer Manila.
