Grappa Theatre presents this adaptation of the plot of the play I pettegolezzi delle donne, by Carlo Goldoni. It examines the vices of the provincial society of eighteenth-century Italy, a classic text where farce, melodrama and romantic comedy meet.
The version presented by this company shows the action through humor, rhythm, stage game, gestural gag and verbal rhyme. The acting work makes the whole agile with a fast pace, a cure of humor in current times.
