This young wine festival is celebrated since 2003 with the purpose of promoting the wine of Santa Maria del Camí, with a long winemaking tradition. It begins with the arrival at the plaza of the Vila of the carriage of the branches of pine that are delivered to the warehouses of the town so they hang them in the top of their main entrance, an old custom to announce the beginning of the sale of young wine.
The Fiesta includes the VI Festa de la Tapa, with tasting of young wine and tapas in 17 venues of Santa Maria offering their specialties.

12:00 h. Delivery of the emblem Brot de Pi in recognition of the support and promotion of the wine of Santa Maria del Camí to Miquel Segura Aguiló, writer and journalist, and Joan Vich Capó, en Joan de Son Crespí de Santa Maria del Camí. Sala de Plens of the Town Hall.
Saturday 26:
Route by train and visit to the local wineries.
Departure: 09:30 h.
Train 1: visit to Bodegues Macià Batle, 7103 Petit Celler, Sebastià Pastor and Bodega Ramanyà.
Train 2: visit to Celler Son Crespí, Bodegues Angel, Bodega Ca'n Rubí and Celler Jaume de Puntiró.

8:30 pm: Prelude to the XIII Festa del Vi Novell by the glossador Mateu Matas 'Xurí'. Arrival of the branches of pine to hang them on the entrance of the cellers by members of the Senior Citizens associations accompanied by the xeremiers of Santa Maria.
