New edition of this fair dedicated to lovers of viticulture. It IS celebrated since 2004 and is organized by the city of Pollença and la Associació Vi Primitiu, a name they borrowed from the poet and chronicler of the town Miquel Bota Totxo.
In this edition will participate 39 wineries and cellars of Mallorca: Conde de Suyrot, Bodegas Bordoy, Can Pico, Bodegas Angel, Can Feliu, Can Coleto, Antonio Nadal Ros B & V, Macià Batle, Miquel Gelabert, Son Artigues, Sebastià Pastor, Can Ramis, Es Verger, Son Sureda Ric, Tomeu Isern, Ca Sa Padrina, Finca Can Axartell, Son Prim, Pere Seda, Son Vich de Superna, Vinya Taujana, Butxet Viticultors, Galmés i Ferrer, Miquel Oliver V & B, Binigrau, Mortitx, Vi d’Auba, Canyelles i Batle, Son Bordils, Son Ramon, Vins Nadal, AVA Bodega, Bodegas Munar, José Luis Ferrer, Son Campaner, Tianna Negre, Mandia Vell, Ca´n Vidalet and Finca Can Sureda.
The stands are mounted in the cloister of the convent of Santo Domingo, which becomes the best showcase of Mallorca wine products and the most extensive and varied wine tasting. This year the association of restaurateurs of Pollença also participates with ten restaurants that will each offer a special menú Fira del Vi, that will includes lamd of Pollença accompanied by Mallorcan wines.
This year, the craftsmen's association will offer a showroom on the doorstep of the fairground, in Joan March Gardens, with special edition products around the world of wine.
All the visitors will be given a bag containing a glass of tasting, a book with all the information of the wine cellars and their wines, a pencil to make notes, a brochure of the association of restaurateurs with the special menù of the Fira del Vi and also with hotels that make a special offer for the fair weekend.
With the entry, a credit of 3 € for the purchase of wine at the fair
