XXXV Contest of Plastic and Visual Arts 'Vila de Binissalem'

Binissalem City Council convenes these awards which are international and already are in its thirty-fifth edition. It is open to all plastic and visual artists and the deadline for submission of works ends on August 31, 2013.

Each artist may submit a work with free choice of technique and theme, and have to attach his resume. With the selected and awarded works an exhibition will mounted in the Casal de Cultura Can Gelabert between September 14 and October 20 of this year, within the program of the Festa des Vermar XLVIX.

The contest is equipped with a first prize of 2,500 euros, also being the protagonist of two solo exhibitions: in the Casal de Cultura de Can Gelabert and the Sala Es Polvorí in Ibiza in collaboration with the Fundació Baleària.

There will also be a second prize consisting of a laptop and two tickets to travel with Baleària to any destination in the Balearic Islands.
