Every summer for 25 years, Cala Millor celebrates its Fiestas del turista ( tourist festival), a way to put the finishing touches on the summer in this tourist town of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar. This year's program includes activities from 20 to 28 September, coinciding with the celebration of World Tourism Day (Saturday 27) promoted by the World Tourism Organization (WTO). The theme of this 2014 edition is aTourism & Community developement and aims to raise awareness of the need for proper management of the tourist activity ??in relation to the local community.
During these nine days are programmed sport on the beach, cultural and leisure activities. From music concerts to parades, dance and circus, a night of fire with the Dimonis of Son Ganxo , tasting of tapas or a colorful medieval market from 23 to 26 A large fireworks display and a performance by Harlem Gospel Tribute and the Temptations Tribute will end these days of fiestas.
