‘La isla del aire’

Mario Gas directs La isla del aire, written by Alejandro Palomas in which daughters and granddaughters must face the truth and all its hidden secrets. Núria Espert and Vicky Peña lead the cast, along with Teresa Vallicrosa, Miranda Gas and Candela Serrat.

In Menorca, a family of five women, led by old Mencía (the matriarch of the family), embark on a boat trip to the Isla del Aire. The death of Helena, Mencía's eldest granddaughter, is very present in the mind of the family and, during this excursion, Mencía will force her daughters and granddaughters to face the truth and the secrets they keep inside of her. .
