The Cocanha group is formed by three female voices that, having Tolosa as a meeting point and the Occitan language as a vocal playing ground, offer us the sounds of the Pyrenean, Gascon and Lengdocian repertoires.
Accompanied by string drums and body percussions, they evoke a natural sound, generous and sincere. An Occitan girlsband for a concert that is danced, or a dance that is heard, full of elegance, humor and character.
Cocanha is formed by Maud Herrera (voice, hands and feet), Caroline Dufau (voice, drum of strings, hands and feet) and Lila Fraysse (voice, drum of strings, hands, feet and caxixi).
Before the concert, at 6:00 p.m., workshop of Occitan dances by Joan Codina, to facilitate the audience participation in the dances of the concert. The show is part of the program La lluna en vers.
