Concert of Mallorcan dances

A journey through post-romantic folklorist music by the Ensemble Tramuntana string quintet led by Barry Sargent, with Francesc Blanco as soloist pianist. It is presented within Dansamàniga 2019 - XV International Dance Season

The program will also include other short pieces for piano and for piano and cello of the Majorcan composer Baltasar Samper. With the participation of the  Escuela de Música y Danzas de Mallorca  directed by Biel Frontera, that will perform and dance the original folk dances. The event will feature the presentation and comments of musicologist Amadeu Corbera.
