The millenarian salinas along its territory, already exploited by the Romans, give name to the municipality of Ses Salines, which this year celebrates the new edition of a fair dedicated to salt, salted fish and species. It takes place in its coastal core of Colònia de Sant Jordi, which for two days becomes the ideal setting for the tasting of cod, herrings, olives, gildas ( pincho par excellence of the Basque Country) or mojama.
There will be a whole program of activities with show cookings, market, vermouth, talks, workshops, excursions, music and art with much salero around one of the oldest salineras of the Mediterranean.
