Mónica Valenciano, National Dance Award (2012), presents her latest creation, Imprenta acústica en (14 borrones)... de una aparición (Acoustic Printing in (14 blots) ... of an appearance). A piece that intertwines body, voice and poetics that lives in everyday life.
The idea germinated in the artist's residence at Las Naves Matadero in Madrid. There she opened her process to restless creators of different disciplines of dance, interpretation, visual arts and audiovisual.
Mónica Valenciano began her career in the late 80's and today is one of the most significant figures of contemporary dance in Spain, with a solid artistic career.
The piece is performed by Mónica Valenciano and Raquel Sánchez. Audivisuales by Marta Blanco and music by Anton Webern. It is one of the proposals of Palma amb la Dansa 2019.
