'Les Voix'

Israel Solà directs this opera show with a double program. Les Voix is a dialogue between two pieces: La voix humaine (a contemporary classic) and La veu sàuria (a newly created work).

The first shows us a woman talking on the phone with her partner, who has just left her. She talks non-stop to avoid hanging up and cutting the only thread that connects them.

La veu sàuria is a response to the romanticism of The voix humaine. An empowered woman has understood that she does not need her husband - a renowned biologist - and tired of playing this role of submission has decided to abandon him.

Soprano Maia Planas and baritone Pablo López take part, accompanied on piano by Magí Garcías.
