Greeting the New Year with waltzes, polkas, overtures and marches of the Strauss family has become a regular concert date in major theaters and concert halls over the world. The Strauss Festival Orchestra is the most faithful representative of the Viennese tradition and throughout its five decades of existence has achieved ovations in major European venues.
In addition to the musical quality of the orchestra, making New Year's concerts truly unique is the accompaniment of the Strauss Ballet Ensemble, which gives it a scenic drive through stylized choreography and bright costumes. In fact, the program is composed of compositions designed to accompany the dance.
This famous production is coming to the Auditorium of Palma de Mallorca to celebrate their New Year Concert and welcome 2018. The show is inspired by the traditional appointment in Vienna, with titles such as Napoleon, Flower festival, The Emperor Waltz, The Beautiful Blue Danube or Radetzky March, among others.
